The Director of the Food and Drug Department of the Ministry of Health of Laos and his delegation visited China

On July 1, 2025, H.E. Bounxou Keohavong, Director of the Food and Drug Department of the Ministry of Health of Laos, led a delegation of 11 senior officials to pay an official visit to Chinese pharmaceutical companies. The visit focused on the demand and potential of the pharmaceutical market in Laos, as well as the prospects for cooperation between China and Laos in the pharmaceutical industry. The aim was to promote high-quality pharmaceuticals to benefit the Lao people and inject new impetus into the development of the pharmaceutical market in Southeast Asia.
